Many foreigners have the idea of La Costa Blanca as just sun and beaches… And that’s totally right! But we like to think that there is a bit more. Thanks to its amazing +300 sunny days per year, La Costa Blanca offer plenty of all-year-round possibilities: 20 golf courses, 25 yachting harbours, 10 national parks… La Costa Blanca is the homeland of the world known Paella, but it is also famous for its offer of Tapas and the Mediterranean Diet. Alicante has as well a wine D.O. (mark of origin) and 8 restaurants with at least one Michelin star. Getting here is very easy and very cheap. With two international airports (Alicante and San Javier) and dozens of low cost air companies, flying to Alicante can be cheaper than a dinner! Approximately, half a million citizens of the EU have decided to become residents in La Costa Blanca and, sincerely, to get that number means they must be satisfied. And, YES, we have 170 beaches (with 59 of them enjoying EU blue flag, being the biggest number in a department in whole Europe)!
